According to Aztec Mythology, The ‘’Centzonhuitznahua’’ were known as The ‘’400 Gods of The South’’ (or Southern Skies). Each of these Deities sprang forth fully grown as Warriors. Their position in the Aztec hierarchy was sided with The Creator Deities, and were involved in a ‘’celestial battle’’ which was akin to The Christian concept of The ‘’War in Heaven’’ (Lucifer vs God). As a reward for the slaughter They wrought upon Their Enemies, They were given charge over all matters of Nature regarding the Southern Regions of The Aztec Empire.
