''Celtchar'' The Fire Lance of Mac Ulthechar

The Legendary 8th Century AD ''Fire Lance'' ''Celtchar'' of Ireland. Belonging to Celtchar Mac Ulthechar, a fictional character from the Ancient Irish story "The Tale of MacDanthos Pig". Other mythical leaders of Ireland were have said to have used The Luin. The Spear was said to have been 10 feet long. When a Warrior "slapped" the spear blade, The Luin would ignite. The sight of a 10 foot flaming spear coming at an Enemy must have been impressive. The stories also tell of dipping the spear blade into poison before "igniting" it. The Luin's fate is unknown.
