Cartomancy

A 14th Century AD European form of Divination – ''Cartomancy'' is akin to Tarot Card Reading. Rather than using Card with specific imagery (symbolism), keyed to form complex ideas relating to The Past, Present and Future (Fortune Telling), a regular Playing Card Deck is substituted. Normally, depending on ''where'' (World) Cartomancy is practiced – certain Suits are removed (commonly 2s, 7s and 10s). Additionally, a ''Blank Card'' is also used (to be substituted for a ''Royal'' Suit). Much like Tarot, Cartomancy using the placing of certain card into a ''pattern'', which as with the interpretation of the various Suits – gives the desired ''answers''.
