Based on American Horror Writer Stephen King's Novel of the same name Carrie was a 1976 Horror Movie (with several remakes). Carrie centers around a normal 17-year old girl named Carrie White. She grows up in a repressive household with her religious zealot Mother. Almost Puritan in her upbringing, Carrie has trouble adapting to the outside World and the often cruel world of High School bullying. However, Carrie has harbored a secret since her birth. She is able to move objects with her mind! Being born with the gift of telekinesis is seen as from The Devil (according to he Mother). Carrie tries in vain to repress her talents, but she finds that uncontrollable anger causes her dark gift to manifest itself without control. During a prank against her at a High School Prom Dance (when local bullies drench her in Pigs blood) Carrie finally loses control. She kills everyone at the Dance with her unique gift. Unhinged mentally, Carrie heads home for a final showdown with Mother. Both Carrie and her Mother are mortally wounded in the upcoming battle - with a violent earthquake erupting under Carrie's house, which completely swallows it. What follows is often considered one of the most scariest moments in Horror History (as only Director Brian DePalma can do).
