Canotila

The Native American Lakota (Sioux), have a Mythos about a ''Spirit'' known as ''Canotila''. These are ''Nature Beings'' that inhabit Woods and Forests. Their name translates to ''Little Tree Dweller'', and they bear a very similar resemblance to The European ''Fairy'' Mythology. They are often malevolent, and were known to come to The Lakota in their dreams, to warn them of danger or bring them ''Good News''.
