Camacrusa

A Medieval "Horror Story" of sorts which originated in 11th Century France, The Camacrusa were evil Spirits, so terrifying in appearance, that one would instantly die of fright. Bearing this in mind, and considering the Entities needed human children to eat, they would assume the appearance of a raw "skinless" disembodied leg! They could run down their "prey" (and still instill the terror they were known for). No known remedy was known to stop The Camacrusa. They were known to inhabit dense woods and forests. The "Raw Legs" faded from legend around the 14th Century.
