Bubak

 The Slavic myth of The Bubak, is that it is an Evil Spirit that assumes the form of a common farm Scarecrow. They then make the sound of a crying baby to lure the curious (or the helpful). He then consumes their souls. It is said The Bubak takes the souls of those he consumes and weaves a cloth fabric (which he then wears).
