In Somali (African) Mythology – The ‘’Buuti’’ are a type of Demon with ‘’cannibalistic tendencies’’ – with regards to Humans. The Buuti were said to have descended from a Somali Goddess who went against The Creators wishes to punish Man. Saving them from His wrath, he cursed Her and Her generations to be the Buuti.  They can assume any shape they wish as a form of trap.
