An Ancient Celtic Goddess – ''Brigantia'' was first recorded by Ancient Rome around the 2nd Century AD. Worshiped by Tribes as ''The High One'', Brigantia was adopted into Ancient Rome's Religions as ''Minerva''. For The Celts, She represented The Earth – in particular The Land. Offerings were made before and after planting of crops, as a means on ensuring a good harvest.
