From Hindu Mythology, The Brhaspati was a Deity associated with both The Planet Jupiter and as a''Being'' that provided consul to The Gods. ''His'' appearance can be traced back in texts as far back as 1,000 BC. Brhaspati was also described as the ''Bringer of Light'' who ''banished Darkness''. Married to another ''Divine Being'' (Tara), she was the very ''Stars of The Sky''. Brhaspati is most often depicted as having a Golden colored body with Blue stripped legs. His ''head'' is crowned with The Moon and Stars. Brhaspati appears in numerous Sutras (Holy Texts) important in the later Foundation of Charvaka (Materialism) Philosophy.
