Near Madison, Wisconsin (US) – Lake Menota is a popular spot for water sports, camping and picnics. It is also the home of the legendary Lake Mendota Monster – named ''Bozho''. First reported by Residents around 1860, The Creature is said to be a ''50 to 70-foot long Serpent'' with a ''Crocodile-like head''. Bozho is also said to have flippered appendages and is often aggressive IF approached. The Beast is known to ''float in thew water'' resembling a wooden log – hence it is often mistaken when ''seen''. Many cite Bozho as a means of attracting Tourism, borrowing a page from the Residents of Loch Ness in Scotland, as it where. Those photographs taken are often out of focus or grainy and establish no proof. But Bozho is still affectionately seen as the Town ''Mascot'' even today.
