The Portuguese assign the name ''Boto'' to a Species of ''River Dolphin'' – found in various South American Rivers. Since their initial ''discovery'' by their Colonists, The Boto were easily seen as ''Supernatural Creatures''. Said to be ''Non-Human'' Beings, relative to other Countries Tales of ''Mermaids and Mermen'', many Legends and Mythos were so derived. In The Amazon, The Boto were ''known'; to ''seduce Young Women'' and ''impregnate them''.
