A Medieval Demon from Brittany (France), The Bosch has various Legends associated with it. In Nautical terms, they are Sailors who betrayed their Ship or Crew. If the betrayal involves death, the Violator would become a grotesque Bosch. Seen as a large lump of concealing flesh, they retain a human-like Face. Their arms become flippers and they are forced to live in the cold, wet Sea. They are cursed to this existence for all eternity until they right the wrong . However, their frightful visage scares away People. The Bosch hates fire, and having some (a torch or signal fire), will normally keep them away. Another so called method is the strewing of Hay throughout the Vessel. For some reason, The Bosch dislike the material (perhaps reminding them of their past life on Land).
