''Dracula'' and Vampire themed films were very much a staple from the 1950s thru 1960s. ''Blood of Dracula'' was no different. The Black and White 1957 American International Picture was a classic ''B''-Movie of The Genre. The somewhat ''silly story'' was readily ''gobbled up'' by Teenagers of The Era. In short, Widowed Man (with a rebellious daughter), remarried a younger Woman. Daughter is sent to a Private School, and She is welcomed into a Club ''The Birds of Paradise''. Lead by The Schools Chemistry Teacher, The Club is transfixed on discussions of a ''hidden power'' all People have (stronger than any Atomic Weapon, if one knows how to ''tap it''). Rebellious Daughter becomes a willing Subject in an experiment by which an ancient Transylvanian Talismen is worn and used to channel physic energies brought about by deep hypnosis. This also turns our Heroine into a Vampire (by which Her Studio make-up is dine to give Her a ''Bat-like'' look). Although (at first) Our Heroine can control Her ''transformations'', The Talisman slowly take over Her Mind. Murders throughout The School and surrounding Town bring Police Investigations. As they close in, Our ''Vampire'' transforms and attacks The Chemistry Teacher who started all this. In an ensuing fight, The Chemist pushes ''Vampire Girl'' into broken furniture impaling Her (ala traditional Vampire killing tactics). She is arrested by Police. The Film had nothing to do with ''Dracula'' but the title was used to attract attention and of course fill Drive-In Movies'' (which it did).
