The construction of the ''Doll-Like'' figure was made from Broom, Meadowsweet and Oak. Various incantations were needed (by Folk Magic Practitioners) – to so ''activate'' The Blodeuwedd. They ''last'' as long as is needed for Protection of a particular ''hazard''.
