The Title says it all. While the 1960s are often seen as the ''rise'' of The Vampire Film Worldwide, One would not see the odd mixing of the Classic Count tale with that of American Western Outlaw, Billy The Kid. Embassy Pictures did so anyway in 1966. The film also starred Hollywood Film ''Bad Guy'' and Horror King, John Carradine (in His much later years). The 1966 film, although a Cult Classic, was greatly lamented by Carradine (as being His ''worst''). So to the Plot. It is The American West of the 1870s and apparently Count Dracula leaves Europe and wanders The Wild West. He becomes attracted to the girlfriend of none other that Billy The Kid. He takes up the guise of a ''long lost'' Uncle of Billy's girl (to get close so He can turn Her into His Vampire Bride). Fortunately for Billy and The Townspeople, a German (Old World) Immigrant Couple moves thru and quickly ''identifies'' The Count. So after fighting The Count traditionally (with fists and getting His Outlaw ''ashes hauled''), Billy is given a Silver Scalpel by The Town's Doctor. The Immigrants made it clear that Billy needs to stab the item thru the heart of The Lord of The Undead. With another encounter, Billy kills The Count and saves His Girl. Well, if ''Billy The Kid vs Dracula'' has any redeeming qualities it IS in Color.
