Besom

The Besom was a common Broom device made from long pieces of tree or related branches and bundled around a stout shaped wooden handle. The very name would evolve into the word ''Broom''. Aside from being the most common household cleaning device in The World, it became the primary folk component used to illustrate ''how'' Witches travel. In ''Nature Magic'', The Besom was used to ceremoniously ''sweep away'' harmful Spells or energies from a location prior to casting spells or making remedies. This was accomplished using the same sweeping motion, however without touching the ground itself.
