Beag's Well

A Tale from Ancient Irish Mythos – ''Beag'' (also called ''Bec'') was Member of the previously discussed ''Tuatha De Danann'' (Mythical Beings). She was tasked to guard a ''Magic Well'' from which, if one cup of the water was drawn and drank, would give One ''wisdom''. A second cup, would allow One to ''see The Future''. Beag was tasked with making sure only those ''worthy'' were allowed to do such. She would keep the entrance to Her Well (hidden in a cave – well hidden from Human eyes. Her mythos was used in many tales as both cautionary and instructional. When the majority of Her Race – ''vanished back into their Realm'', Beag hid the Well so that it would never be discovered....or hasn't yet at any rate!
