A Cult Film from 1982, ''Basket Case'' was a bizarre Classic taking us back to the ''Drive-In'' Movie fare of the 1960s and 1970s. Using ''Stop Motion'' Special Effects and extremely poor acting, the unlikely Movie spawned several equally silly sequels. Dealing with a ''normal looking'' young Man, ''Duane'' – He was born with a giant, lump-like ''parasite'' which is in reality a deformed and semi-developed Twin - named ''Belial''. Rather than separate the two at birth – they were allowed to remain attached at the waist. Developing a kind of 'mental Twin connection'', it was decided by ''smarter minds'' to eventually cut off ''The Lump. But Belial did not die and mentally orders His ''Brother'' to rescue Him from the ''medical trash heap''. The Two set out to seek revenge against all those who separated them. But Belial begins to assume more and more control over Duane (who keeps in in a giant wicker basket (hence the Title ''Basket Case''). Gore at points, it is a silly (yet fun) addition to The Genre.
