Barbegazi

  Seen in French and Swiss mythos, The Barbegazi were small white-furred humanoid men. The are also seen with long white beards. Known for their enormous feet, they use these appendages to ski and traverse the snow covered mountains they call home. The shun Summer, and were known to dig caves and tunnels (to await the next Winter). They also shun human contact (but have been known to help high-altitude shepherds recover lost flocks). They do not speak, but will warn of danger with a high pitched whistle-like tone.
