In ancient Pagan Lithuanian Mythos – ‘’Bangputys’’ was (later) likened to either a ‘’Sea Demon’’ or Deity (similar to Greece’s ‘’Poseidon’’). Lord of The Seas and of Storms (at Sea), Bangputys was very malevolent. Despite suitable offerings made to Him by His Cult – He was unpredictable. Later versions portray Him as having ‘’Two Faces’’ or Heads (one of Calm Seas and the other of Tempest).
