Yet another mythic Cryptid from 19th Century North American legend, The Ball Tail Cat was a story reported by many settlers to the mid and far American West. Said to resemble a Bob Cat (Predator Feline), it was said to be heavily spotted. It also was said to have a large and bony spike-like clubbed tail! The Ball Tail Cat used this appendage to strike at it's prey (setting it up for it's amble claws and fangs). Another version of the Ball Cat story comes from the Arizona and New Mexico Territories. It was said that this species of Critter used it's tail to break open thorny Cactus plants (with which to drink the juices).
