In Ancient 7th Century AD Iranian Mythology, ''Rostam'' was a legendary Warrior Figure – akin in part ''Hercules'', ''King Arthur'' and of course, ''Roland''. He ''fought'' in several mythical battles and against many of Iran's more infamous Monsters and Demons. He was shielded in combat by a suit of magical Armor known as ''Babr-e Bayan''. No blow by sword, lance or arrow could fell Him (while He wore said Armor). Rostam could ''walk under water and thru fire'', without harm. Later Scholars cite that Babr-e Bayan was in fact NOT made from Armor, but the ''skin of a leopard''. Made by a Fakir from ''materials which came from The Gods''. Also giving Him ''long life'', He was poisoned by a half-brother at the age of 600 years. His armor was ''lost to History''.
