Axehandle Hound

 A legendary creature said to exist in Minnesota and Wisconsin (US), the myth started in the late 18th and early 19th Centuries. Said to be a supernatural Entity, The Axehandle Hound is not necessarily evil (but considered related to a Goblin), the creature resembles a small Canine. It's head and overall shape however resembles a common Axehandle. Seen by local Logger and Woodsmen, the legend may have developed from the many Paul Bunyan stories popular in the Era. Seeing The Axehandle was often considered good luck and following one meant being led to locations with ample lumber for cutting and processing.
