The Zuni Tribe of North America, is an Ancient Culture, tracing it's Southwestern ''roots'' back almost 12,000 years. They have a rich and far reaching Mythology. One such Deity spoken of by The Zuni, was The ''Awonawilona''. This was The ''Supreme Being'' which created all Life in The Heavens and Earth. The Deity was neither ''seen'' as ''Male or Female'' – and was described as being nebulous. Often portrayed as ''Light Rays, Mists, Clouds etc.'' - Awonawilona'' was The Zuni's ''essence of Life''.
