''Attack of The Killer Tomatoes'' (1979)

 WHO could not pass up this one. A VERY bad film ( D -Movie, if the scale went that low), but an instant Cult Classic in MANY places (unusually). Made in 1979, The Attack of The Killer Tomatoes (and the resulting Song ), deals with mutated fruit (Tomatoes). They are 7 feet in diameter. It could have been radiation, or may that Tomatoes just finally got smart and have decided to turn the tables on their primary eaters US. At any rate the Color films have the Massive Monster Fruit capable of movement (they roll very fast and crush their victims I am not making this up!) The US Government forms a Special Operations Groups to combat The Tomatoes. Rifle fire is ineffective! (Radiation, remember ) The Tomatoes are however, capable of being shrunk by playing extremely sappy Love songs. The Herd is lured to a Stadium, where speakers blast such music. This causes The Tomatoes to begin to shrink (and can now be crushed under foot). Seriously, a SEQUEL was made as well. REALLY silly, but a fun one to watch!
