A Japanese ''Kaiju'', ''Manda'' is best described as a massive Sea Serpent (over 200-feet long). It first appeared in 1963s ''Atragon''. Producers based Manda on several Ancient Japanese Sea Beast myths. Not strictly confined to The Sea, Manda can roam about on land and wreck havoc. Manda (as were several other known Monsters) was controlled by evil Space Aliens and made to attack Godzilla and others when The Aliens were trying to take over Earth. Manda appeared as a stock Monster in several Toho ''Kaiju'' Films in the 1960s and 1970s. Resurrected in 2004, Manda would be frozen and then shattered to pieces.
