''Atom Age Vampire'' is a 1960 Black and White, Italian Sci-Fi/Horror Film. Like the then rising trend of ''Atomic Fear'' Films that were being produced and marketed at a rapid pace this film did not use the ''traditional formula'' of a Giant Monster or Lab created ''Creature''. The ''Field'' was a Human Scientist. Drawn to love of a young Model, ''She'' is disfigured in a car accident. In order to restore Her looks, Our Scientist creates a ''Healing Formula'' from irradiated Human Tissue from The Hiroshima detonation. However, in order to work, the catalyst requires a Human Gland (requiring The Scientist to kill to harvest these). The ''Hero'' slowly becomes mutated as well during His experiments to synthesize he Formula, slowly resembling a grotesque Creature. After a large body count, a Police Dragnet and a ''cheesy'' fist fight, Our Scientist ''burns up'' too much of His ''Atomic Energy'' and fall dead. He slowly degenerates back into His ''normal'' appearance.
