An Ancient Semitic Goddess dating to at least 3,000 BC – ‘’Astarte’’ was a principle Goddess, whose attributes were linked to many facets of Human Life. From Hunting to Fertility, Astarte ‘’regulated’’ most things. The images of both a Lion and Horse were also given to be Her symbolism for their perceived ‘’power’’. In Shrines, She was portrayed as a Female ‘’Mother Goddess’’. Some Scholars link Her to elements of Egypt’s God ‘’Set’’ as well as Greece’s ‘’Aphrodite’’.
