The ''Asiputu'' was perhaps one of the earliest forms of ''Exorcism Manual'' first used. Codified on stone tablets, The Work was a series of Ancient Akkadian Prayer and Incantations, specifically designed to to ''eradicate'' Demons. The Asiputu also contained instructions on the construction of Amulets for protection and the interpretations of various Omens (as they related to Demonic infestations). Standard Medical Knowledge (cures, procedures etc. ) - was also included, making The Asiputu a valuable tool in Ancient Mesopotamia.
