An Archdemon of Hell, Asag is shown in Art as being similar in appearance to Satan. He has bat-like wings and horns. He is also said to be so horrid in appearance that to look upon him will cause madness. A similar demon was described in Ancient Sumerian texts as having had sexual relations with all the mountains of The World. This union produced thousands of "Rock Demons". They serve as Asag's Army and protect him in his battles against Good.
