In African Somali, ''Arraweelo'' was a Goddess associated with ''empowerment'' of African Women. Traditionally, Women occupied a much ''lower level'' of most African Tribal Societies. Arraweelo gave Women the ability to stand on their own in a ''masculine'' centric Society. In addition to Fertility, The Goddess gave Women the power to influence Men to strive towards their ''better side''.
