Or better known as Scorpion Men were a feature in Ancient Akkadian Mythology. They were mentioned in the Epic tome Gilgamesh . Living in The Mashu Mountains, they are Guardians of The Sun . They were considered somewhat benevolent and would warn lost travelers of dangers ahead. Said to be huge creatures, they were a combination of Human and Scorpion.
