APRO (Aerial Phenomenon Research Organization) was the 2nd most known Civilian and privately funded US National UFO Research and reporting Agency. It worked along side of the previously discussed NICAP Agency. Formed in 1952, it was based in Tucson, Arizona (US) APRO stressed scientific study and evaluation with regards to it's UFO investigations. Membership funded, it also operated a Monthly Bulletin, available to Members with their subscription fee. Several well known Scientists added their names to APRO as investigators. They often testified before The US Congress and various sub-Committee's on UFO phenomenon in the 1960s and 1970s. The Organization ended in 1988, transferring their Case studies to MUFON (Mutual UFO Network), which is still active today.
