While mostly seen as a ''Parlor Trick'' associated with Seance's or Mediumship in Paranormal circles, the ability to ''Apport'' something was related to making a common object suddenly appear. These objects were seen as mostly common household objects, such as a fork, spoon or other ''small'' article. The ''practice'' can be associated with Poltergeist activity and related. While a centuries old ''Act'', most Apport activity was infamously part of the 19th and early 20th Centuries ''Golden Age'' of Hoaxing common with fake Mediums. Many famous debunkers like famed Magician and Escapist Harry Houdini ferreted out ''Apport'' appearances. No conclusive evidence of Apport has ever been proven actual. Commonly, in addition to items of a household nature, sometimes ''Grave Goods'', were said to be made to materialize. Grave Goods are items ''thought'' to have been buried with long dead relatives or such that ''magically'' appear when commanded.
