Apparition

Another often misused word, it is commonly used to "lump together" all forms of Spirits and Ghosts. An "Apparition" does not necessarily mean "The Entity" is that of a deceased person. Apparitions appearance throughout tone as far back as Ancient Egypt. They were seen as "Portents" of both "Good and Evil". From The Paranormal Investigation perspective, there are 3 Classes of Apparitions. The first is known as a "Crisis Apparition". A living or dead persons image is seen both in a corporeal or "dream state". Their purpose is to "warn" of "doom, illness and even death". The second Class are known as "Haunting Apparitions". These Beings are associated with locations such as houses, Land and in some cases, even inanimate Objects. The third Class are called "Experimental Apparitions". These are the "conscious" thought projections of living people who appear to someone they know. This form is also associated with the phenomenon known as "Astral Body Projection". Some theorize that even raw emotions can be manifested into an Apparition.
