Water dwelling creatures, The Apkallu were spoken of in several Middle Eastern Countries fables. Humanoid, they are part Eagle with the tail of a fish. Part of The Faery Family, fishermen would try and capture them alive. The Apkallu have advanced knowledge of farming and agriculture and by forcing them to reveal their secrets, a farmer could triple his yield. Difficult to capture, The Apakallu would try an capsize a fishing boat and drown the Seamen rather than be captured.
