Dating to Ancient Greece, the unusual Deity known as ''Aoin'' was the personification of ''Time'' and it's relation to The Universe and how (then) perceived ''Time'' passes. The relation of Time to both Earth and The Universe was NOT understood, as ''Time'' is readily seen as a ''Human'' invention and thus not relative to ''how'' The Universe functions. Aoin was used as the means to understand and explain ''Cosmic Time''. Later (Rome) adopted Aoin with The God ''Jupiter'', although the ''concepts of Time'' were seen differently.
