Said to be 3 times as large as a regular Wolf, The Andean Wolf was first reported in 1927 by an Expedition to The Peruvian Andes. The massive creature was said to range up to 400 pounds! A reputed pelt and skull were taken to Germany for examination and presentation to The World. The findings were postponed for years (for unknown reasons). With World War II, the evidence was reported destroyed in Allied bombings. As late as 2002, sightings of The Andean Wolves are still reported.
