Alomancy

Many Ancient Cultures used ''Alomancy'' as a form of Divination. It can be found in The New World as well, especially in West Virginia, Arkansas and Tennessee. The Theory was One (specially Trained or a Folk Magic Practitioner), would talk a handful of the Mineral and throw it into the air. The pattern it fell into on the Earth, was then ''read'' – based on what was ''seen''. Another method of Alomancy, was to pour the substance into a bowl with ''pure water''. In time, as the water and salt evaporated, the residue too formed a pattern which could be used for foresight.
