Mythical creatures found in the folklore of The Philippine Islands, The Alan were non-human, deformed Spirits that lived ''between Worlds''. The cause of their deformity is not known, although it is speculated they were so cursed by The Gods for trying to pierce the veil between Worlds and co-habitate with Humankind. The Alan cannot reproduce. It is said they creep into Villages and steal various Female bodily secretions. Using these fluids and of course Alchemy can create demonoid Children. It is also said that in their ''realm'' their Homes are made of Gold and Silver. The Alan have wings and can fly. Additionally, they have been said to have bird-like feet (although some versions of their mythos give them ''backwards'' feet). They are also somewhat warlike Beings who guard the various ''portals'' to their Realm from Human invasion.
