Akkorokanumi

 These Giant Octopus-like creatures have been roaming the seas off of Taiwan and Korean since first reported in the 19th Century. These Cephalopoda are said to have a 50 foot body with tentacles spaning 100 feet. They are said to be able to sink a large ship. Giant Squid stories are a staple of Seafaring the World over. The Akkorokanumi is revered like a God with Temples dedicated to them. Some carcasses have been found (around 40-foot range). They are said to range in color between a deep Blood Red and a Bright Crimson.
