 Another very strange Feudal Japanese Monster Story , The Akatebo is truly an unusual creature. Said to be an Evil Spirit, the Enity uses 2 different attack methods. The first (and most alarming), is that it will take the form of the severed hand of a child. Tied to a rope (and hanging from a tree), the curious will investigate. The hand comes alive and strangles it's prey. It will then drain the remaining energy from the remains. Should this tactic not work, The Akatebo has a final deal breaker . Sometime working in tandem with another Akatebo, one will assume the form of the most beautiful woman one could behold. IF a victim runs away from The Hand , he will run into The Woman . She will place you into a deep trace and escort you back to The Hand (either way, your finished). The story is also told in Korean (but changed to include only The Woman ).
