A Camden, South Carolina Legend – ''Agnes of Glasgow'' was born in Scotland, and was said to have been in love with a British Soldier. Sent to The Colonies to fight in The American Revolution, He promised to marry Her upon His return. She could not wait and stole Her way to American on a Ship. Finding His Unit, she was saddened to find that he was claimed to have been killed in combat. Refusing to believe such (no body or grave was produced), She remained in Camden, constantly searching for Him – even after the end of The War. Never tiring of Her search, She would become ill and died before finding Him. She was buried in a local Camden Cemetery in 1780. It became an urban Legend quickly, with Agnes ''Spirit'' still wandering in Death, trying to find Her Fiance. In fact, locked doors have their handles ''turned'', as if Agnes is trying to ''enter and search''. Her ''activities'' are more noticed in February – the month of Her demise.
