 From Ancient Greece, these beings were seen as Elemental Spirits . They were personal companion spirits - associated with Vineyards and Grainfields. They often gave good luck health and wisdom to their worshipers. Initially depicted as a young and handsome human (or Mortal Boy), The Agathodemon was change later into a Hybrid creature depicted as a Serpent with the head of a Human.
