''Acheiropoieta'' is the term applied to various pieces of Religious Art that was purported to have be made by ''non-human'' hands  or Supernatural Forces. Most of these Artifacts are displayed in Churches throughout The World. These are normally paintings or in some cases, statuary with Jesus or The Virgin Mary as subject matter. The most common example of Acheiropieta is The Tilma (Native Cloak) of Juan Diego. The image of The Virgin Mary was imprinted on His Garment after a Vision of Her (and was thereafter known as ''Our Lady of Guadalupe). Unfortunately, the Art Style was copied by contemporary artists and circulated (often as misrepresentations). Investigations into these over the Centuries have determined the paintings and sculpture's ''origins'' as man-made. Still, a few defy explanation such as The Statue of The Crucified Christ in Buga, Columbia, South America.
