Abasy

 From many Slavic Nations, comes the story of The Abasy. These are hideous monsters. They are said to live in a dimension in between The Universe (as in inter-dimensional). Within this realm, The Abasy occupy the lowest level. They are said to only survive in total darkness as well. The Abasy were said to be the spirits of the long dead (who were unable to find their way to Heaven or Hell). They come into Our World to help lost spirits find their way. Appeased by blood sacrifice, they were known to take human souls to their Demon-God Master (for him to devour). This legend seems to go back to the 8th Century in many Northern European Countries. Described as all white (owing to their dwelling in absolute darkness), they are 7 to 8 feet tall. They have a large head with multiple eyes. Featuring squid-like protrusions coming from their head, The Abasy has huge and long arms (with fingers very much like their head extensions). Sometimes said to have no legs (and having a worm-like bottom), some Countries have The Abasy with humanoid legs (and are able to move very fast). It is also said that they have fangs made of iron (and can cut through any material).
