The ''Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program''- also known as ''AATIP'' , was said to be a Top Secret US Government funded ''Program'' begun in 2007, to explore ''measures'' to combat possible ''hostile'' Alien Encounters with The Earth. It's overall ''cover'' was to provide for the detection and destruction of probable Space Threats such as Asteroids, Meteors and related debris which may pose a threat to The Planet. Although ''ended'' in 2012, many ''insiders'' cite that AATIP in fact never ended. This was made so by the continued usage of the phrase with regards to the recent (2019) US Navy release of formally Top Secret footage made from US Fighters that had encountered ''unknown Contacts'' while on routine Missions and Deployments.
