A REAL Mammoth?

First appearing in Ancient Earth History, around 5 Million Years ago (with the last species live as ‘’late’’ as 4,000 Years ago), The ‘’Mammoth’’ (also called a ‘’Furred’’ or ‘’Wooly’’ due to the massive coats of long hairy fur which covered Them), is (now) a firm piece of Sci-Fi/Fantasy Fiction – in both Book and Film. Many Historians cite that the Elephantine Species and Man did not co-exist together (although some do and it causes heated debates). Many extremely well preserved Mammoth remains have been discovered in the frozen tundra of Siberia and far Northern China. So well preserved in fact, that Scientists have been able to extract ‘’fresh’’ DNA. Perhaps, it is thought, that the now extinct Mammoth could ‘’live again’’. All ‘’known attempts’’ at genetic manipulation have thus failed. But Our Story centers around a strange Film (seconds long), which was supposedly taken by a German Soldier in World War II Siberia (1943). The Film purports to show a ‘’living’’ Mammoth. To include the iconic long curved Tusks. The Creature does NOT appear to be a hoax, and even the blowing, cold winds seem to authentically effect the Animal fur.  It was not until 1948, that this clip of film was smuggled out of Soviet-Era Russia. Examined MANY times, it was still not until 2001 that a BBC Television Series ‘’aired’’ The Story and Clip. Instantly decried as fake, ‘’someone’’ from The Production Company ‘’admitted’’ to the forgery. But, as is stated, How does One fake film verified to be 70 years old? Many too cite, that the Forgery is nothing more than typical ‘’disinformation’’. Your Own Conclusions, Please!
