''13 Demon Street'' (1959-1960)

An unusual and short lived early Television Horror Anthology Series – ''13 Demon Street'' was one of the only Foreign Made (Sweden) Show broadcast on American TV (although all Actors and speech was American). Running from 1959 to 1960, 0n (13) 25-Minute Episodes were produced.. The Show centered around ''The Man'' (Screen Horror Great, Lon Chaney Jr.), living in a ruined and dark ''House'' on ''13 Demon Street''. Much has been speculated into ''The Man'' and His background over the years. Some think He was a ''condemned'' Soul (for some never specified horrible Crime). His only way out of ''Purgatory'' was to ''tell'' Viewers ''related tales'' in the hopes of ''them NOT committing the same mistake''. In truth, much of the Episodes were re-hashed of previous Movies since 1945 (only re-worked for Television). The Show had a hard time with viewership and was canceled in 1960.
